   • 1988 July 26, 이경찬 [igyeongchan], “문배주담그기 이경찬옹 [munbaejudamgeugi igyeongchanong]”, in 중앙일보 [jung'ang'ilbo]‎^[1], 평안남도 평양시 [pyeong'annamdo pyeong'yangsi]:

     스물둘에 가업을 물려받았으니께니 지금도 훈훈한 문배 냄새가 코에 배어있습니다레.

     Seumuldur-e ga'eob-eul mullyeobadasseunikkeni jigeum-do hunhunhan munbae naemsae-ga ko-e baeeoit-seumnida-re.

     As at 22 I was handed the family business [of distilling munbae-ju] even now the smell of wild pear lingers in my nose.

     • From an interview of a munbae-ju distiller who's family were natives of Pyongyang, due to the fact that he had been living in Seoul for probably over 35 years, it is likely that his dialect is greatly influenced by standard Korean.
