[edit]From 利 (lei6, “benefit; profit”), used as a euphemism for 帆 (faan4, “sail”), which is a (near-)homophone of 煩/烦 (faan4, “to be annoyed”) or 翻 (faan1, “to overturn; to capsize”) (Chan, 1998).
