From 𐕆𐔴𐔾 (hel, β€œspirit”, noun) +‎ 𐔽𐔰𐕀𐔴 (ˁaxe, β€œemit”, verb) +‎ -π•’π•‘π•Ž (-un, infinitive). The formation is comparable to Old Armenian աոգւոց Υ°Υ‘ΥΆΥ₯Υ¬ (yogwocΚ» hanel, β€œto sigh”, literally β€œto emit from spirits”); see հոգոց (hogocΚ»).
