스미다 (seumida) (infinitive 스며 or 스미어, sequential 스미니) (intransitive)

  1. to soak into, to permeate; to ooze
    빗물 스미어 벽지 얼룩졌다.
    Binmur-i byeog-e seumieo byeokji-ga eollukjeotda.
    Rain has wetted the wall and the wallpaper became stained.
  2. (of wind) to blow into, to penetrate through
    문틈으로 스미는 찬바람 방안 썰렁하니 추웠다.
    Munteum-euro seumineun chanbaram-e bang'an-i sseolleonghani chuwotda.
    The cold wind entered through the crack in the door, making the room chilly and cold.
  3. (of mind or emotion) to sink into, to be imbued
