[edit]Sino-Korean word from 世界觀, from 世界 (“world”) + 觀 (“view”), an orthographic borrowing from Japanese 世界観 (sekaikan), which is a calque of German Weltanschauung.

- Phonetic hangul: [세(ː)계관/세(ː)게관]
- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
