Etymology
[edit]Compound of 貪り (musabori, “craving, coveting”, the 連用形 (ren'yōkei, “continuative or stem form”) of verb 貪る musaboru “to crave, to covet, to be greedy for”) + 食う (kuu, “eat, gobble, scarf down”).[1]
