Mostly found in 癇性發作痫性发作 (xiánxìng fāzuò, seizure), a medical term aimed to disambiguate from 癲癇癫痫 (diānxián) which is the general term for epilepsy/seizures. However, when this is used attributively elsewhere, it often translates to “epileptic”.
