[edit]慮る • (omonpakaru) godan (stem 慮り (omonpakari), past 慮った (omonpakatta)) (alternative reading hiragana おもんばかる, rōmaji omonbakaru)
- (formal) consider carefully, especially for human relationships.
- あなたはもう少し部下の気持ちを慮ったほうが良いです。
- Anata wa mō sukoshi buka no kimochi o omonpakatta hō ga yoidesu.
- You had be better off considering your staff members' feelings a little more carefully.
- あなたはもう少し部下の気持ちを慮ったほうが良いです。
Usage notes
[edit]The other kanji with five-mora readings are
- 志 (kokorozashi)
- 詔 (mikotonori) (also written as 勅 (mikotonori))
- 謀 (hakarigoto) (also written as 籌 (hakarigoto))
- 承 as in the verb 承る (uketamawaru)
