Etymology
[edit]/patɨkwau/ > /pakkwau/ > /ɸakkwau /> /hakkwau/ > /hakkwoː/ > /hakkoː/. Literally a net that stretches over and connects in eight directions. The eight directions are north, south, east, west, northeast, northwest, southeast, southwest and is a reference to the land as a whole.
