[edit]From Sanskrit प्रजापति (prajāpati, literally “chief of mankind; chief of creation”), from प्रजा (prajā, “mankind, people; creation, procreation”) + पति (pati, “chief; lord; master”); equivalent to Thai ประชา (bprà-chaa) + บดี (bɔɔ-dii).
