[edit]Inherited from Old Gujarati इग्यार (igyāra), from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀏𑀕𑀸𑀭𑀲 (egārasa), from Sanskrit एकादश (ekādaśa), from एक (éka) + दश (dáśa). Cognate with Bengali এগারো (egarō), Hindi ग्यारह (gyārah), Konkani इक्रा (ikrā), Marathi अकरा (akrā), Punjabi ਗਿਆਰਾਂ (giārā̃).
