    Inherited from Prakrit 𑀫𑁄𑀓𑁆𑀔 (mŏkkha), from Ashokan Prakrit 𑀫𑁄𑀔 (mokha), from Sanskrit मोक्ष (mokṣa), from मोक्ष् (mokṣ) + -अ (-a).

        Those who meditate upon the Siddhas, and conquer their [internal] enemies by meditating;
        The great city of moksha is near for them, O Āṇaṃdā, and they give water (a ritual done for the dead) to the sufferings of the material world.[2]
