Borrowed from Classical Persian نواز (nawāz) +‎ -णे (-ṇe). Compare Gujarati નવાજવું (navājvũ), Hindustani نَوَازْنَا (navāznā) / नवाज़ना (navāznā), Punjabi ਨਿਵਾਜਣਾ (nivājṇā) / نِواجݨا (nivājṇā).
