[edit]Borrowed from Classical Persian تعلق (ta'alluq), from Arabic تَعَلُّق (taʕalluq). Compare Punjabi ਤੱਲਕ (tallak) / تعَلُّق (tʻalluq). Related to मुतअल्लिक़ (mutaalliq).
