[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘓𑘰𑘦𑘎𑘜𑘹 (cāmakaṇe). Cognate with Gujarati ચમકવું (camakvũ), Hindi चमकना (camaknā), Punjabi ਚਮਕਣਾ (camkaṇā) / چمکنا (cmknā).
