[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘏𑘳𑘚𑘜𑘹 (khuḍaṇe), from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀔𑀼𑀟𑀇 (khuḍaï) (compare Sanskrit खुण्डयति (khuṇḍayati), खोडयति (khoḍayati)). Related to खुंटणे (khuṇṭṇe).[1]
