Etymology
[edit]From Aramaic תְּאוֹמָא (təʾōmā); cognate to Classical Syriac ܬܐܡܐ (tāʾmāʾ), Arabic تَوْأَم (tawʔam), Hebrew תְּאוֹם (te'óm) and Akkadian 𒊕𒌋𒌋 (tu'amu).
