   اسكی پنبوق بز اولز، قری دشمن دوست اولمز

   äski panbūq bez olmaz, qarı düşmän dōst olmaz

   old cotton cannot become a cloth, an old enemy cannot become a friend

Usage notes

• For inanimate objects, اسكی (äski) is used.
