    1. drowsiness
      Synonym: اُون٘گھ (ūṅgh)
      • 1933, Hakeem Mohammad Kabir-ud-din, بُخاروں کا اُصُولِ عِلاج [buxārõ kā usūl-i 'ilāj, The Principle of Treatment of Fevers]‎[1], Delhi, page 33:
        اُس پر غنودگی طاری رہتی ہے، اور جب وہ سو جاتا ہے، تو وہ نیند میں بَرّانے لگتا ہے۔
        us par ġunūdagī tārī rahtī hai, aur jab vo so jātā hai, to vo nīnd mẽ barrāne lagtā hai.
        Drowsiness overcomes him, and when he falls asleep, he begins to mutter in his slumber.
    2. (by extension) light sleep, nap
    3. stonedness (ie. stoned from intoxicants)
