[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *taĺkarï (“outwards”),[1] a development of *taĺ (“outer side, exterior”). Cognate with Azerbaijani dışarı, Kyrgyz тышкары (tışkarı), Southern Altai тышкары (tïškarï), Turkmen daşarı and Yakut таһырдьа (tahırja).
