[edit]Inherited from Proto-Turkic *bilek (“wrist, forearm”); cognate with Azerbaijani bilək, Kazakh білек (bılek), Khakas білек (bìlek), Turkmen bilek, Tuvan билек (bilek) and Uzbek bilak.
