Etymology

Inherited from Proto-Turkic *ur-. Compare Khalaj hurmaq, Turkmen urmak, Karakhanid اُرْماقْ (urmaq), Uyghur ئۇرماق (urmaq), Salar vur, Kyrgyz уруу (uruu).
