  2. (figuratively) to pass away, to die
    քունել ընդ հարսkʻunel ənd harsto sleep with one's fathers
  3. to lie with, to sleep with a woman, to know her

Usage notes

In modern Armenian քունել (kʻunel) has become a vulgar word meaning “to fuck”. The form քնել (kʻnel) means “to sleep”. The etymological relation between the two is not realized.
