An o-grade verbal iterative-extensive reduplication from the same source as հեղում (hełum).

  1. (transitive) to overflow, to inundate, to flood
  2. (transitive) to rinse
  3. (mediopassive, intransitive) to be inundated, plunged in, immersed
    ողողել յանձրեւոյołołel yanjrewoyto be soaked through by the rain
