[edit]Inherited from Proto-Slavic *pozorъ from *po- + *zьrěti. Equivalent to по- (po-) + зрі́ти (zríty). Cognates include Russian and Bulgarian позор (pozor), Czech and Slovak pozor, Polish pozór, and Serbo-Croatian pòzor.
