[edit]Inherited from Old East Slavic достатъкъ (dostatŭkŭ), from Proto-Slavic *dostatъkъ. By surface analysis, даста́ць (dastácʹ) + -ак (-ak). Compare Polish dostatek, Russian доста́ток (dostátok).
