[edit]Etymology
[edit]Learned borrowing from Ancient Greek σχεδιασμός (skhediasmós, “improvisation”), adapted to the modern meaning of σχεδιάζω (schediázo, “to draw, to design, to plan”), with semantic loan from English planning and drawing.[1] By surface analysis, σχεδιάζω (schediázo) + -μός (-mós).
