[edit]Borrowed from Turkish eğlenti, with removal of initial vowel and stress placement on -έν- producing a noun-verb pair γλέντι (glénti) / γλεντώ (glentó) that mirrors κυνήγι (kynígi, “hunt, chase”, noun) / κυνηγώ (kynigó, “to hunt, to chase”, verb).[1]
