Usage notes
[edit]- The feminine plural αγίες is a frequently used form, since the 17th century[1], probably under the influence of the ancient accusative plural τὰς ἁγίας. (The nominative is αἱ ἃγιαι). It has been used in numerous books, mainly religious, and is continuously being used until today, the 21st century.
