çözelti
Appearance
Turkish
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Ottoman Turkish چوزمك (çözmek, “to untie, to unfasten, to unbend”)[1] from Proto-Turkic *çöz- (“to pull and stretch”),[2] morphologically çöz- + -el- + -ti.
Derived through false analogy to çökmek into çökelmek into çökelti; however "çözelmek" does not exist as a separate verb.[3]
