  Jak wynika z badań przeprowadzonych przez R.F.S. Rugeira^[sic] i E. Bernarda istotną rolę w podaży zakazanych gatunków dzikich ptaków pełni, niezwykle popularny w tym kraju, handel uliczny. Autorzy szacują, że w jego ramach rocznie może być oferowanych do sprzedaży ponad 50 tys. sztuk, w tym 16 800 osobników ziarnojadka czarnolicego (Sporophila nogricollis^[sic]).
  According to a study conducted by R.F.S. Regueira and E. Bernard, an important role in the supply of prohibited wild bird species is played by the street trade, which is exceedingly popular in this country. The authors estimate that over 50,000 specimens, including 16,800 specimens of Sporophila nigricollis, may be offered for sale annually as part of it.
