1. (colloquial) to be interested (in some activity or the like)
   1. (colloquial) to be up for

      – Vi tänkte gå till Donken. Vill du hänga med? – Ja, jag är på.

      – We thought we'd go to McDonald's. Want to join us? – Yeah, I am up for it.

      Jag är osäker på om det kommer fungerar, men jag är på för att testa

      I'm unsure if it's going to work, but I'm up for trying it

   2. (colloquial) to come on strong

      Du är lite för på. Det skrämmer bort folk.

      You're coming on a bit too strong ("are a bit too on"). It scares people away.

2. to be on ((constantly) engaging with, in some way)

   De är på henne hela tiden med elaka kommentar

   They are on her all the time with mean comments

   De är på mig hela tiden. Jag verkar vara deras idol!

   They are on me all the time [in a negative way implied]. I seem to be their idol!

   Nu är måsarna på massäcken igen

   Now the gulls are picking at our packed lunch again

   De är rätt sega. Man måste vara på dom lite för att få saker gjorda.

   They're pretty sluggish. You have to nag ("be on") them a bit to get things done.
