Borrowed from Japanese うp(ぷ)主(ぬし) (upunushi), from うp(ぷ) (upu, “upload”) ( < English upload ) + 主(ぬし) (nushi, “proprietor”); the pronunciation of up is borrowed from English up directly, not from うp(ぷ) (upu), which comes from directly typing "up" into a Japanese IME; 主 (zhǔ) is an orthographic borrowing from Japanese 主(ぬし) (nushi).
