Etymology
[edit]From Proto-Albanian *unk(j)etai or *ung(j)etai, from Proto-Indo-European *wenk- (“to bend, kneel”). Cognate to Sanskrit वच्यते (vacyáte, “to move, fly, escape”).[1]
