tiuha
Appearance
Finnish
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Morphologically appears to be a variant of tiukka, perhaps formed by analogy (with niuha ~ niukka), but the senses are closer to tiheä. SSA calls the word a possible "contamination" (i.e. irregular blend) of tiheä and tiukka.[1]
