[edit]From Ancient Greek ῥᾳθῡμία (rhāithūmía, “easiness of temper”), from ῥᾴθυμος (rhā́ithumos, “easy-going”), from ῥᾶ (rhâ, “easily”) (see ῥᾴδιος (rhā́idios)) + θυμός (thumós, “soul, mind”)).
