Etymology

Borrowed from Korean 라면 (ramyeon), from Japanese ラーメン (rāmen), from Mandarin 拉麵 / 拉面 (lāmiàn) / 拉面 (lāmiàn, pulled noodles). Doublet of laghman, lamian, and ramen.
