Etymology

From Proto-Albanian *kaka or *keka. Related to Lithuanian kankù, kákti (to seize, reach), Latvian kacèt (to grasp) and Proto-Slavic *čekati (to expect, to wait).[1] Alternatively a variant of cek (to touch).
