Noun
[edit]ptychography (uncountable)
- (physics) A technique that aims to solve the diffraction-pattern phase problem by interfering adjacent Bragg reflections coherently and thereby determining their relative phase.
- 2015, O.Yu. Gorobtsov, I.A. Vartanyants, “Phase of the transmitted wave in the dynamical theory and quasi-kinematical approximation”, in arXiv[1]:
- It was recently suggested that the transmitted phase can be directly measured in ptychography experiments performed on nanocrystal samples.
