  1. An engine-powered steel ship or vessel, larger than 15 meters, used for inland water transportation, and often modified in order to act as a docked restaurant or hotel.
  2. (fluid dynamics) Material inserted between a half-model, often of an airplane, and the wall of a wind tunnel.
