  1. the bitter beech bolete (Caloboletus calopus), an inedible mushroom with a bitter taste
    A Menorca s'utilitza el terme pebrada o pixacans per designar els bolets que no es mengen.
    On Minorca, the term pebrada or pixacans is used to designate mushrooms which are not eaten.
  2. a sauce made with pepper
    La salsa pebrada devia ser una de les salses més emblemàtiques de la cuina medieval catalana.
