Cognates include Russian пакость (pakostʹ), Ukrainian па́кість (pákistʹ), Belarusian па́косць (pákoscʹ), Bulgarian па́кост (pákost, “harm”), Serbo-Croatian pȁkōst (“malice”), Slovene pákost (“vicissitude”) (tonal orthography), Czech раkоsť (“filth”), Polish раkоść, Upper Sorbian раkоsć, Lower Sorbian раkоsć.
