Etymology

- Mitä mieltä olet? ― What do you think? / What is your opinion?
- Olen sitä mieltä, että... ― I think that... / I'm of the opinion that...

- Minusta meidän pitäisi... ― I think we should...
- (Minun) mielestäni meidän pitäisi... ― In my opinion we should...
Conjugation
[edit]See olla; mieltä is not inflected, and stays in the partitive even in verbal nouns.
