[edit]ni- (modal) + -∅- (3rd person subject prefix) + -∅- (classifier) + -zhǫ́ (neuter absolute stem of root -ZHǪǪD, “to be nice, beautiful”) + -í (nominalizing suffix), resulting noun later repurposed as a verb.
