Etymology
[edit]Inherited from Proto-Philippine *minsan. Compare Ilocano minsan (“once”), Kapampangan misan (“once upon a time”), Bikol Central minsan (“sometimes”), Maranao minsan (“although; kinship of one degree”), and Tausug minsan (“to do in one sitting”). Doublet of pinsan and pisan.
