[edit]Hinde (1904) records muhu as an equivalent of English ashes in “Jogowini dialect” of Kikuyu, listing also Kamba mūū and Swahili ivu (pl. maivu) as its equivalents.[1]
Pronunciation
[edit]- As for Tonal Class, Benson (1964) classifies this term into Class 3 with a monosyllabic stem, together with rũkũ, and so on.
