  1. steam or vapour created from water being thrown on a hot surface
    Kas saunas leili oli?
    Was there any vapour in the sauna?
  2. heat
    Päike vajub alla, aga siia on pidama jäänud pisut lõunaaegset leili.
    The sun is setting, but here there is some midday heat left.
  3. soul, spirit
    heitis leili väljahis soul left the body (literally, “he expelled his soul”)
  4. life, life-force
