Løkken Verk, as an old mine town, has linguistical diversity because of different waves of worker immigration to the town, spread on different parts of the town, along with areas, where people from wealthy background lived. Today, however, these subdialects became less different, as the mine was closed, and people moved around, and many new people have settled in the town.
