- an ablaut that marks a statement as not yet true at the time under discussion. Always used at the end of the sentence, otherwise it becomes kta.
- Mni kte. ― I will go.

Note
[edit]- kte is never used in sentences that are commands
- when followed by šniis, kte denotes discouragement
