[edit]From Malay kendera, kendara, from Classical Malay کندرا (kendera), کندرا (kendara),
- Equivalent to ke- (“towards to”) + edar (“to turn”) + -in- (“continuous”). Compare to Old Javanese indra, indĕr, idĕr (“to wander; to turn around”).
